
Naturalist, poet and writer Jason Sturner was born in Harvey, Illinois,
and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago. For the last ten years he
worked primarily as a botanist while also conducting bird walks. He now
resides in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he writes full time and enjoys the
wildlife, folklore and music of the region. Sturner has published four
books of poetry:
Kairos, 10 Love Poems, Selected Poems 2004-2007,
and
Collected Poems (all still available; see website). In addition
to poetry he likes to write flash fiction, short stories, music lyrics and
