Cappy Love Hanson was born in Berkeley, California, at the head of the Baby Boom, 
and grew up in Southern California.  Probably the most significant aspect of her 
education at UC Santa Barbara and USC was the time she spent ditching classes and 
sitting in the library, writing.  Cappy moved to Northern New Mexico for its inspiring 
natural beauty and currently lives in Arizona with her husband and four parrots.  
She loves to hike, watch birds, and rummage through antique desert middens.
